I had to install a new hard drive in a used 15-f024wm laptop I bought last weekend. No recovery media so I decided to install Windows 7 64 bit from disk. I got most of the stuff working on it from searching the forums here but still have 4 items in device manager that have the yellow exclamation mark.
PCI Encryption/Decryption
SM Bus Controller

Any help you guys can give will be greatly appreciated.

Prior post about Windows 7 on the same model:
Post back with any more questions. It would help us to have the hardware ID of the devices missing drivers:
This is from Dell but explains how to get the device ID for specific devices in the device manager:
Just copy and paste the string of characters here, and example would look like this:
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_5917&SUBSYS_225C17AA&REV_07

Thank you for the help. The chipset drivers in the prior post you linked to was what I needed. It eliminated the last 4 exclamtion marks. I searched for hours last night in the forums and never ran across that post.
I must have been getting tired last night. I posted the wrong model number. Mine is 15-f010wm. Your solution still worked though so I am happy. lol I didn't realise the mistake until today.
