Hi, i had blue scree issue multiple times recently & when system restore also failed to work, i used system recovery. When i downloaded Intel HD Graphics driver 100%, i am getting message- "failure to download".  I have tried this 4-5 times & same message persists. Also, i am unable to adjust the screen brightness using the action keys (these are enabled in BIOS). Could someone help me with some solution?

What is the full model number or product number of your notebook?

 

Use this guide to find that information...please do not post the serial number.

You will not be able to adjust the screen brightness unless you have installed the Intel chipset installation utility and Intel graphics driver.

Install the Intel chipset installation utility first and restart the PC if you have not done so already.

 

This package contains the Intel Chipset Installation Utility and Driver for supported notebook models and operating systems. This utility enables the operating system to show the correct name for the installed Intel hardware in the Microsoft Windows Device Manager.

Your PC has that AMD/Intel switchable graphics adapter setup.

 

This is the only graphics driver you should attempt to install because it is a customized driver that installs both the Intel and AMD GPU's. 

 

Never attempt to update this driver or allow Windows Update to install a newer version of the Intel graphics driver.

 

This package provides the AMD High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driver and Catalyst Control Center for supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. For notebooks with switchable graphics modes, this package includes drivers for both graphics processing units (GPUs). Switchable graphics enable users to switch between a power-saving graphics mode (normally used under battery power) and a high-performance graphics mode. If high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) video output is supported, this package also installs the HDMI Audio Driver.
