My touchpad setting is not there inside setting-> devices, even the drivers are missing from the device manager.
The drivers are not available on the HP website for my laptop (HP Notebook 15-da1058tu) for the Windows version I am currently in Windows 11.

Hi @Str9
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
It seems like your HP Notebook 15-da1058tu is missing touchpad drivers for Windows 11, and they aren't available on the HP website.
Here’s how you can address this issue:
Step 1: Check for Generic Drivers
- Open Device Manager and click View > Show hidden devices.
- Expand Mice and other pointing devices to check if any generic touchpad drivers are listed.
- If not, proceed to the next steps.
Step 2: Use Windows Update
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
- Click Check for updates and install any available updates.
- Windows may automatically install a compatible touchpad driver.
Step 3: Install ELAN or Synaptics Drivers
- Many HP laptops use ELAN or Synaptics touchpad drivers. You can download these drivers from the HP Support page.
- Install the driver and restart your laptop.
Step 4: Use HP Support Assistant
- Download and install the HP Support Assistant from the HP Support website.
- Run the tool to automatically detect and install missing drivers.
Step 5: Manually Install Drivers
- Search for compatible ELAN or Synaptics drivers on third-party websites like Softpedia or DriverPack.
- Ensure the driver matches your laptop model and Windows version before installing.
