Hi @Str9

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

It seems like your HP Notebook 15-da1058tu is missing touchpad drivers for Windows 11, and they aren't available on the HP website.

Here’s how you can address this issue:

Step 1: Check for Generic Drivers

  1. Open Device Manager and click View > Show hidden devices.
  2. Expand Mice and other pointing devices to check if any generic touchpad drivers are listed.
  3. If not, proceed to the next steps.

Step 2: Use Windows Update

  1. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
  2. Click Check for updates and install any available updates.
  3. Windows may automatically install a compatible touchpad driver.

Step 3: Install ELAN or Synaptics Drivers

  1. Many HP laptops use ELAN or Synaptics touchpad drivers. You can download these drivers from the HP Support page.
  2. Install the driver and restart your laptop.

Step 4: Use HP Support Assistant

  1. Download and install the HP Support Assistant from the HP Support website.
  2. Run the tool to automatically detect and install missing drivers.

Step 5: Manually Install Drivers

  1. Search for compatible ELAN or Synaptics drivers on third-party websites like Softpedia or DriverPack.
  2. Ensure the driver matches your laptop model and Windows version before installing.
