Hello,
I am Vandit from India due to this pandemic time we can't step out of our house and the request is for updating drivers to run Windows 10 64 bit.
Notebook name: HP Pavilion dv6000
Supporting OS : Microsoft Windows 8.1 64 Bit
Product Number: GJ154PA#ACJ
BIOS Version: F.29
Display Adapter: Mobile Intel(R) 945 Express Chipset Family (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM 1.0)
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU T5300 @ 1.73GHz
Device Audio : Conexant High Definition Audio
Mouse: Synaptics Input PS/2
Can you just bring out the latest drivers and the bios version to run Windows 10.

HP has retired support for the dv6000 model series, so there are no more support pages.
Additionally, HP does not have Win10 drivers for your model laptop.
I am a volunteer and I do not work for, nor represent, HP

Hi, @legend_forever
There are only WIndows XP and Vista drivers available for your notebook.
Here is the last BIOS update HP released for your model...
Info file: F.2E April 12, 2010
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp48001-48500/sp48121.html
Exe File;
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp48001-48500/sp48121.exe
Since the BIOS update file was written to be run on XP or Vista, I don't know what is going to happen if you run it on W8.1.
It may work or it may wreck your notebook.
The bottom line is if you upgrade to W10, your notebook is not going to have any newer drivers than it does now.
You can most likely still get the free upgrade from W8.1 to W10 by clicking on the Blue Update now button at the link below.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
See this article that shows you can still get the free upgrade...

I have an old HP nc6400 with the same Mobile Intel 945 chipset and the same graphics as your dv6314tx notebook, and it is running the latest build of W10 v2004 just fine.
If things don't work out, you have 30 days to revert back to W8.1 as long as you don't delete any files.
If some drivers need to get reinstalled after the update, let me know and I will post the links to them.
Sometimes you lose the SD card reader, which then shows up as a Base System Device.
