Hi @Tadcarm7,
I reviewed the post completely. thanks for the quick response. You've displayed amazing technical skills, profound technical expertise and commendable research to try and find answers for the issue. Kudos to you for a job well done. It is greatly appreciated. 🙂 You could safely update the drivers from the Geforce app which auto detects the drivers and installs them whenever it is out of date. It is absolutely safe. They are the vendors and manufacturers of the graphics card installed on the computer. It is as safe as installing the updates from the HP portal as they are our business partners.
As far as updating Intel drivers are concerned, please follow HP provosts advice because they are exceptional, extremely knowledgeable and have all the right answers for all HP products like the Holy Bible.
Trust me I've done all I can to assist you by keeping your best interest in mind. You've been commendable and it has been an absolute privilege to share this platform with you. 🙂
I genuinely hope the computer works great and stays healthy for a long time once it gets fixed. 🙂
To simply say thanks, please click the "Thumbs Up" button to give me a Kudos to appreciate my efforts to help.
If this helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution” as it will help several others with the same issue to get it resolved without hassles. 🙂
You take care, stay healthy, keep smiling big and do have a blessed year ahead. 🙂

I was basically asking, if its safe, to download drivers from the Geforce Experience App, im sure your familiar with it. I have downloaded a driver from it in the past, and it seems to work fine. I am however, confused when it comesx to the intel driver.
i am also confused with the Intel driver updates. Ive been told by HP provosts, that i cant download the latest intel driver from intels website; even though ive been told that my drivers are out of date. The intel driver provided on the Hp site, is a older version than my current.
