Hi,

Just wanted to know if my laptop can handle a 1TB NVMe SSD with a 1TB HDD(which came in originally with the laptop) and whether I can use them both simultaneously or if I need to use a different configuration or size of NVMe SSD

Yes you can have both at the same time and use them together. You of course want to make the NVME M.2 SSD the system or boot disk. The Manual does not state limits as to the capacity of disk you can use, just lists all the disks HP offered from the factory.

Post back with any other questions and please accept as solution if this is the info you needed.

Thanks @Huffer

So I can definitely use 1TB NVME M.2 SSD without causing any system configuration failure?

I was just confused after looking at the Dual storage configuration in the manual, but thanks for letting me know that it's just a list of all disks HP offered from the factory .

You definitely can install a 1 TB NVME M.2 SSD 2280 form factor.
