Hi,

I have an HP nx9420 which came without bluetooth module. Wifi is installed.  I bought  Bluetooth module and cable but need Service center to install it for me.

 

A user suggested me to get a DUAL Wifi/Bluetooth module which is easier to install. But there seems to be several MAKES.

 

My question is:- Is the under attached Module compatible with my HP nx9420 ?Wifi-Bluetooth module.jpg

Hi:

 

That model series is too old to have dual band Wifi/Bluetooth adapters installed.

 

There is also a BIOS whitelist which blocks the installation of any wifi card not listed in the nx9420 from working.

 

Your only option is to go with the factory bluetooth module or purchase an external USB bluetooth adapter.
