Product: Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-e0000 (2V8Z4AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

The problem i was having was installing a larger SSD. I got it for my son for Christmas. I figured 256g would be sufficient for a while. Long story short I ordered SK Hynix gold p31 1tb. Well I spent a week trying everything and nothing. I ordered an external SSD reader/slot whatever it called. Cool little device. Gives you the option if your not so confident about taking your laptop apart to just keep it on outside or for those who only have one slot. Ok punchline.....I didn't realize or better yet assumed that there was a card in each slot...All the instructions I watched and read suggested the M.2 slot ......Guess y'all know how this ends. Last ditch effort let's try the other slot. It was like  someone just slapped me upside my head. There was NOTHING IN THE OTHER SLOT. I had been taking out the main drive the whole time.....Thank you and good night. Don't be me.

It has 2 slots but only one is being used. It is the Primary drive that why you only see one drive.
