Yes, I took the covers off to get WiFi card info and the is an empty slot, just curious what it could used for like Bluetooth or something

Page 53 of the manual for dv6 models shows the WiFi card compartment, but I don't know where the empty slot you are talking about is located. Hopefully, this service manual will provide information you need.

Looks like the slot is for a mSATA drive like this.

 

Page 4 of the manual indicates that models with Intel processors supports 32 GB mSATA SSDs.
