The very best processor that is compatible with your HP Pavilion dv6138ea Notebook PC, according to the manual: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01035677.pdf, would be an Intel Core Duo T7200 (2-Cores, 2-Threads, 2.00 GHz).
However.
Digging a little bit deeper, according to: CPU-Upgrade: Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 (Socket M) CPU, the fastest CPU for your laptop would actually be an Intel Core Duo T7600 (2-Cores, 2-Threads, 2.33 GHz):
Hope this was helpful.
