Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)
I am experimenting on this old device, is it possible to give this thing some boost to fit in this modern day?

Not really. I believe memory is capped at 2 gigs of DDR1....you can upgrade the processor but it will be something else from that era, nothing new. Single Core Turion 64 ML-44. The video is a nonstarter. No way to upgrade. The dv8000 was a great laptop in about 2006. Its of historical interest only at this point.
