Product: HP Pavilion x360 14 Convertible PC 14-dy0000 (300N1AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
Hi,
I have an HP Pavilion x360 14 Convertible Laptop.
We are having a continual issue with the Touchpad where the ELAN Precision Touchpad Filter Driver is disappearing and the touchpad becomes inoperable. I can reinstall the driver and most of the time the touchpad starts to work again.
However, most often if the laptop is powered down the functionality and driver are lost again, so the driver is not remaining persistent in the configuration. It is almost as if the driver is being overwritten as the laptop is booted.
Can anyone provide some guidance on what the issue might be?
