After a couple years HP no longer carries replacement batteries. I confirmed the HP Parts Store does not have either of the battery part numbers you list above. There is a robust aftermarket for both genuine HP and compatible third party batteries and you can find them from amazon.com and eBay and specific battery vendor websites. I see from your profile you are in the USA:
This is an internal battery so you will need some instructions for installing it, maybe? Pages 24-26 of the Manual will help:
Post back with any more questions and please accept as solution if its the info you needed.

Thanks. You have confirmed, that I have not lost the cabability to search on the HP website. I wish HP would make public statements that they are no longer supplying partsx to replace limited life components of their devices and provide their customers with alternative sources. I basically extrcted that information from one of their aftermarket repair sites and managed to order the battery that I need.
PS: This new knowledge of HP's lack of commitment to support their products has probably led me to a decision to not purchase any future HP products. Two years is not end of life on a laptop.

No one said its end of life. Sorry you are disappointed and I appreciate the solution but this is par for the course in the industry and I am just so used to it with batteries I don't think much of it. Other types of replacement parts for which there is not such a robust and reliable aftermarket have a much longer availablity from HP.
Glad you found a replacement and good luck.
