Product: HP ENVY x360 - 15t-cn100 CTO
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hello - I purchased this laptop back mid 2019 because I needed to spend money and thought my existing machine was going to fail due to its advanced age. I set it up in early 2021 so my daughter could use it to log into some college classes. At the time i remember it was running hot, but didnt think much of it and put it away. Now, of course, my old laptop is starting to fail, so i brought this one out for its first real go. As i remembered, it runs the fan constantly and runs hot. I havent put anything on it and havent used it. Should i send it for repair before it load it up and it loses my data?
