ENVY x360 Convertible 15m-bp0xx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP ENVY x360 is plugged in, but it does not charge!

I have already tested the AC plug with another HP ENVY x360 and it works perfectly, so the problem might be the battery or the DC input. I ran the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics and this is the test log I received:

TestVersion = 1.17.4.0

TestId = a088469f-b159-4d7e-b4f9-0f1ed77a95af

Instance = 1

StartTime = 2020-08-22T09:36:21

ExecutionDuration = 00:01:02

Result = ExecutionFailed

ErrorCode = 601

Failure ID = GTXPMW-8P8A7B-GXGGRG-C0A113

Product ID: 1KS72UA#ABA

Can someone please help me with this issue?

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

I did go through the failure ID and it refers to battery failure. As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now. I would request you to contact our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to sort this out. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link:  www.hp.com/contacthp/
