Hello!

I want to upgrade my notebook and need some answers.

1) What is the maximum memory (RAM) frequency? 1333Mhz or 1600Mhz?

2) What is the maximum RAM capacity? (dmidecode shows 16Gb)

3) Does it have mSATA or sth else for memory (data storage) increase?

4) What is version of SATA supported? (Does it make sense install ssd?)

Hi:

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

You can find all of the answers to your questions in chapter 1.

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03282135

Memory speed depends on the processor installed.

If your notebook has one of the Intel 3rd gen core processors, the memory can run at 1600 MHz.

If your notebook has one of the Intel 2nd gen core processors, the memory will only run at 1333 Mhz, even if 1600 MHz memory is installed.

The chipset your notebook has supports SATA III (6 GB/S) drives.

Even if it didn't, a SSD will run circles around a mechanical hard drive even in SATA II mode.
