I don't know that there is a document with exact date for EOL. There is this document which lists models that are at the end of support :

What is the exact model of your G6? There are many models in that series-none of which I believe are at end of support. Which doesn't mean drivers are provided for later OS, but drivers for original OS ,Service Manuals, etc still provided. Refer to this document to find Model and Product number:

1-That is not your Product number- it is the Serial number.
2-The message pertains to end of free technical support by phone.

The warranty ended 4 yeara ago so why would free phone support only end now.
Does it have anything to do with EOL?
Should the laptop be replaced? Yes, it's very slow and the hard drive is going.
What does it mean for me?

That message really doesn't mean anything-probably actually a fluke since free phone support is only for a year unless you pay for extra coverage. Also mentioned about some repair parts not being available now so that may have even triggered the message when parts were marked as obsolete in the Parts store such as display, motherboard, etc.
Whether you replace it or not is your decision-not really any need to unless you want a faster, newer machine. A hard drive is easily replaced in most models, takes about 10 minutes and a $50 replacement. Of course if you are not into diy projects it would cost about $100 to have someone else do it so a better option might be a new laptop.
