Hi @RobertEnvy17,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like there may be a hardware issue with your HP Envy keyboard, specifically with those specific keys. Here are some steps you can take to try and troubleshoot the issue.

  • Check for any physical damage: Inspect the keys and keyboard for any physical damage or debris that may be obstructing the keys from functioning properly.
  • Update drivers: Make sure your keyboard drivers are up-to-date by checking for any available updates from the HP website or through Windows Update.
  • Run hardware diagnostics: HP Envy laptops typically have built-in hardware diagnostics that can be accessed by pressing the F2 key during startup. Run the keyboard diagnostics to see if any issues are detected.
  • Try an external keyboard: If the problem persists, try using an external keyboard to see if the issue is isolated to the laptop keyboard or if it's a more widespread issue.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
