Dose the exp gdc aka the cheap way to add a gpu to a laptop work on a HP ProBook 450 g4? Specifically the i7500U with m.2 250gb ssd, 930mx gpu.

NVIDIA GeForce 930MX (2 GB DDR3 dedicated, switchable)
note:
NVIDIA Optimus technology requires an Intel processor, plus an NVIDIA GeForce discrete graphics configuration and is available on Windows 10 Professional. With NVIDIA Optimus technology, full enablement of all discrete graphics video and display features might not be supported on all systems (e.g. OpenGL applications run on the integrated GPU or the APU).

 

The Discrete graphics is actually soldered to the system board which is impossible to upgrade. And machine does NOT have any internal nor external port which is fast enough for an eGPU.
