It would help if you identified your notebook correctly.

You left out the two digits that identify the diagonal dimension of the display.

another method is to supply the product number. See my signature to see how you can locate that information.

Thanks for trying to help.

Here is the full model HP Pavilion 15 EC0101AX

My friends have the same model. And, there were able to install and run 500gb Nvme m.2 SSD without any issues. But couldn't able to upgrade to 250GB.

That is a bit odd. Was the 500GB the very same Kingston A2000 model?

Have you tried using the FDisk utility to setup the SSD?

No. 500gb SSD is from WD blue. Also I just checked the 240gb SSD from crucial is. Also working just fine.

I'm really not sure what to do.

No, I haven't tried it. Prior to anything I would want my SSD to show up on bios.

If I purchased the SSD from a company like Amazon, that has a resonable return policy, I would return it.

There may be something wrong with the device.

That's the saddest part. There is no return option for my device. Only replace.

But could you please tell me what else could be an issue here?

HP Recommended

No return option?  Why is that? Contact the manufacturer if you are having issues with it.

You are going to have to do a bit of troubleshooting.

You will need to use the FDisk utility to see if the disk can be recognized  by Windows and then volume created, formatted and initialized.

Try it in a PCIe adapter in a desktop Windows PC to see if it is recognized by the PC.

That is what I'm thinking as well. I'll order 1 adapter now. Thank you!

Return not accepted by Amazon seller 😞

Whatelse I can do? Fdisk is no use. I mean it's (SSD) not recognised.

HP Recommended

I have never had a return not accepted by Amazon.

I suggest you contact Amazon again.

It is the largest retailer on the planet and it sets rules for its vendors that they have to follow to be allowed to use the Amazon marketplace.

BTW, What is wrong with a replace option?
