Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi!

I have a HP Laptop 15-dw0xxx that is 2 years old. Everything works perfectly, except the touchpad suddenly started to act funny last week.

My Elan touchpad looks like the first picture here https://support.hp.com/hk-en/document/ish_3096146-2917121-16

The  touch-sensitive area works normally (I can move the pointer around) but both touchpad buttons at the bottom have stopped working. It started as jittery/sluggish movements and now I can't click/select anything if using the touchpad.

I have done a complete Reset of my laptop/Windows 10 and so got the most up-to-date drivers.

When I use a USB mouse everything works perfectly.

Any help would be appreciated thank you!

Hi, @capucinenskinau you mentioned that the laptop is 2 years old now, so it is most likely a hardware issue. The USB Mouse is working quite fine meaning that is a great way to use your laptop at the moment unless you will like to fix the touchpad by giving it to a technician.
