Hey all,
how can I get access to the Elan touchpad settings where I can define the one finger scrolling zone? One finger scrolling doesnt work although the laptop is brand new and I can't find any advanced settings.
I tried searching for an Elan touchpad app but couldn' find one that would allow me to get the settings.
Thanks for your help!

It always helps when the installed OS is posted.
While logged into Windows, in the searchbox, type in mouse or touchpad.
You should see the touchpad or mouse settings app link above.
Click on the appropriate setting.
That should get you to the settings dialogue.

Sorry, you're right. It's Windows 11. I can access the standard settings you mentioned, but I can only enable/disable two finger scrolling there. I need the settings for defining the scrolling zone for 1 finger scrolling etc. There is no Elan tab showing in the advanced mouse settings too.

OK.
In Windows 11, go to settings -->Bluetooth & Devices --> Touchpad.
There should be an Advanced Gestures section at the bottom
The only single finger actions on my Synaptics touchpad are related to taps.
Scrolling is done with two fingers on my Synaptics Precision touchpad.
With your Elan touchpad you can try disabling the two finger scroll to see if that enables single finger scroll.
Some touchpads do have single finger scrolling available on the left or right edges. I have experienced that in the past.
There are three and four finger gestures.
