Welcome to HP Forums Community!

That does sound like a mechanical malfunction, most likely the fan and to resolve issues such as Fan is Noisy and Spins Constantly:

  • Updating your Notebook computer BIOS
  • Keeping notebook air vents clear and clean
  • Increasing the efficiency of the notebook to reduce heat
  • Using Windows Task Manager to identify corrupt processes
  • Selecting power save settings to shut off your computer when it is not in use

The notebook is new (two weeks) the fan works properly. the noise isnt coming from fan

;its electrical  and decreas with  higher cpu activity. Your answer has nothing to do with the subject.

@plaruno there are no mechanical parts inside your device apart from the fan and the hard drive that could cause that sound/noise if you've gone through the suggested steps and yet the issue persists, you may want to run an extensive h/w test to identify the cause of the failure:

  • Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
  • Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
  • On the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI) main menu, click System Tests.
  • Click Extensive Test.
  • Click Run once, or Loop until error.
  • While the test is running, the time remaining and test result for each component display on the screen.

If a component fails a test, write down the failure ID (24-digit code) for when you respond back to us.

I made extension test and couldnt find any error. What should I do ?

HP Recommended

@plaruno I suggest (if you are comfortable) you remove the hard drive, turn on the device without the hard drive and check if the noise still appears, that way we can identify which part is faulty and replace the appropriate part, if you aren't comfortable and your device is covered by an HP warranty, let me know.
