Hi! I bought an used EliteBook 2170p for simple task at off-leased laptops outlet and find it's 4GB memory not sufficient. Here is exact link to the shop (its in Polish but I guess names of parts are obvious): https://scrascom.pl/laptop-hp-elitebook-2170p-i5-4gb-120gb-ssd-intelhd-windows-10
As I have read, this laptop does accept both PC3-12800 and 10600. How can I check, which one I have on board already?
Having purchased another 4GB chip, how can I make it work dual channel - as this should be faster solution?

Hi:
I have zipped up and attached a free utility below that should provide a great deal of information regarding the memory installed.
Your model should take PC3-12800 (1600 MHZ) memory for best performance.
The i5-3427U processor can run the memory at 1600 MHz, so don't buy 1333 MHz memory.
Here is the link to the crucial memory report for your model.
