HP EliteBook 850 G5
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have notebook HP EliteBook 850 G5, product number - 3JX59EA#ACB.

I'm connecting external USB Type-C display Asus ZenScreen GO MB16AP Portable USB Monitor. When the monitor starting up, I get notebook message, that for connected device need more power, then my notebook can get. In the Asus display specification said, that consumption power less 9W. In the information window of my notebook, said that I can get 15W from my USB Type-C port. My notebook connected to AC power by HP Travel Adapter HSTNN-DA14 (H6Y82AA), HP Part number - L13558-003.

The question is how can I get enough power from my notebook for correct work of external display?

@AntonMaximov

Sounds like the HP Travel Adapter HSTNN-DA14 (H6Y82AA) does not have enough wattage (power) for every thing. Does the monitor have its own power supply ?

Regards.

Maybe so, but when I power notebook on battery, I get the same message.

Asus monitor has it's own battery and when I connect it, on the external display I get popup menu about power source - monitor battery or external USB power. I choose external USB power, but Asus monitor battery is using anyway. All signs point to Notebook USB port problem - I can't get enough power from USB Type-C.
