Hi,
I have been looking at increasing storage on an Elitebook 1050 G1.
A YouTube video shows how to locate one of the SSDs and replace it. But that machine can have M.2 factor SSDs. Is it possible to replace both after purchase? Even if the machine initially came with just one M.2 SSD? Is the other one much more difficult to access?
Thanks a lot.

HP Elitebook 1050 G1 is a series of many models/products with many options/configurations. I don't know your machine therefore my answer is applicable for nealy all machines
Machines have 2 slots for M.2 SATA 3 and NVMe SSD's.
(a) Some machines have pre-installed SSD's on both slots (dual storage option). We can increase size (capaciity) by replacing one or both.
(b) For machines which have only one SSD pre-instralled (single storate option), we can increase size (capacity) by replacing existing SSD or add second SSD to the secondary slot/bay.

As you can see from the book, many components are for HP authorized service provider parts only therefore please be carefull when you open your machine.
Regards.
