Product: HP Elitebook 840 G4
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

 

I have an elite book 840 G3 and G4, the G4 does not have a webcam but the G3 does.

I took the webcam module from the G3 and switched it with the microphone module on the G4 but it doesn't work. The webcam isn't recognised at all.

 

Can anyone offer any advice please?

Figured it out, I also needed the cable from the G3.

I guess not all the cables work for the camera.
