Product: HP EliteBook 840 G5 Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
The problem is that I have to charge it when not in use, because if I plug in the charger while it runs, 9 times out of 10 it switches off and will not boot again unless I disconnect the charger.
Once charged the battery runs over 5 hours in PC Mark 10 battery test!!
All diagnostics I have tested are going well, exept ONE in uefi diagnostics...... Thunderbolt, if I try to run Tb diagnostics
the notebook also switches off!
My question is: do I have to look for a new motherboard or is there anything else I could try first?
