Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi to all and thanks in advance for the help.

I have an Elitebook 850 G5 adn a HP® Thunderbolt Dock 120W G2 with Audio . The problem is that when I connect the laptop with the docking station via the thunderbolt cable, th Elitebook doesn't recognize the docking station except for the power.

So I can switch on and off the PC with the docking station's button, but from the PC I don't recognize the USP port, the VGA port, the audio port and so on.

Can someone of you give me a hint on how to solve the problem?

For instance, from the papers, it appears that this docking station is compatible with the Elitebook 850 G5.

Thanks and best regards.

Marco

Take a look at this and let me know what you think???

1. You need to do all the latest updates for your laptop.

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-elitebook-850-g5-notebook-pc/18491276

You will notice that there a few ThunderBolt updates.

Hold off doing the BIOS update till last!!! "If you do not need it then do not update it!!!"

2. Look at your Advisories: "Most people don't look here"
