Elitebook 8570w
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there, this might be a dumb question, especially given the age of the laptop, but it's really bothering me.

I have two of the 8570 notebooks, one is an 8570w and one is an 8570p. Both exhibit the same incredibly awkward bluetooth. A bluetooth mouse for example only works perfectly while it's in front of the computer. If it's off to the side, the cursor gets incredibly laggy and is hard to control.

Bluetooth headphones are the same, they are incredibly laggy and choppy unless the earbud itself is right in front of the bluetooth "window."

I understand the notebook is old, but for my purposes, it's perfectly fine. Is there any way to fix this bluetooth problem though? It's the built in adaptor, Device Manager identifies it as a Broadcom 20702 bluetooth 4.0 Adapter.

Thanks for any help in advance!
