Product: HP EliteBook 8770w Base Model Mobile Workstation

Hi there,

After a fresh install on my Elitebook 8770W with Windows 7 64 bit the 'Device Manager' reports 2 drivers missing for:

the SM Bus Controller and the ACPI\HPQ6000.

I read some posts concerning this but not for my type of notebook.

You need these W7 drivers:

 

SMBus controller.  Install this driver first and restart the PC.

 

Intel Chipset Installation Utility and Driver

 

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp59001-59500/sp59259.exe

 

ACPI\HPQ6000:

 

HP 3D DriveGuard Software

 

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp62501-63000/sp62981.exe
