HP G72-250US Notebook PC

So i recently found out that my laptop's motherboard is apparently UEFI capable when i was using a software to get information about it's motherboard. The problem is that, when i enter into the BIOS menu, there's no option to change the boot mode thus still being stuck on legacy boot.

Is there a way to enable the UEFI boot option or it's just not possible?

You turn on the PC, tap the F9 key to get the boot options menu.

If the PC has a UEFI BIOS, there will be two lists of boot options -- legacy and UEFI. with the available boot devices listed under each section.

If your PC only has one list of boot device options, then your BIOS is legacy and there is no way to change it.

If your notebook does not have two sets of boot device options--Legacy boot sources and UEFI boot sources, then you will not be able to run Windows in UEFI mode.
