Spectre convertible
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The service manual tells me that there are screws under the rubber grip strips on the enclosure case. However, I'll be a monkey's uncle, I can see no screws. Do I need some kind of Harry Potter magic to find them. I have watched numerous videos on various models and they all show screws under the rubber strips.

How do I get the enclosure case off on my model 15-df0013dx?1.jpeg4.jpeg

Hard to be sure from the photo, but it looks that when you removed the rubber, the double sided tape is still there and you need to  remove that as it may be covering the screws.

Can you post a picture of the entire bottom of the unit. I do not see any screws at all in the picture you post and the part that is scratched up appears to be the hinge cover not a rubber foot. Occasionally there is a mixup in the guides and they show the wrong manual.

This model doesn't have rubber feet. There is a strip of rubber along the top and bottom edge to grip. The alleged screws are supposed to be under the rubber strips. as you can see, I have removed the rubber strips.
