Envy 13-ab003
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My 2016 HP Envy 13-ab003na is unfortunately bricked through a BIOS upgrade. My motherboard  (909254-601) seems to have unfortunately been discontinued. I was wondering if there are any newer motherboards that would fit my model?

Alternatively, could I upgrade from my current motherboard of 8GB RAM (Part no: 909254-601) to a 16GB RAM (Part no 909253-601)?

@Mr_F1

There is a list of System boards on page 47 of the following manual

         http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05356832.pdf

Note: You have to buy a whole new system board (if available) which contains

  1. Motherboard
  2.  CPU+ iGPU,
  3. RAM,
  4. Windows Key/license,

Because all 3 above components are on one piece of hardware called System board.

Regards.

Thanks Banhien,

I was wondering if system boards from subsequent units like for example the 13-ad0xx series would also work?
