I am wondering what my upgrade options are for my 13-aq0011ms. Is the RAM upgradable? Pretty sure I can drop a larger M.2 NVME in: anything there I should be looking for on the new SSD? Thanks

Service Manual:
As you can see, RAM is onboard (soldered) so no upgrade is possible. The M.2 SSD is the only kind of mass storage it can take and it is compatible with PCIe/NVME 2280 SSD modules. Samsung 970 Evo Plus is my best advice.

Its specs:
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06308307
It has
- 8 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (onboard)
- 256 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD
- For RAM: you won't be able to do anything except buying new system board with 16GB of RAM (if available).
- For Storage: Yes for sure, you can install larger capacity SSD. Device Manager should tell you what it is. In theory you can buy any but for a peace of mind, please buy the same characteristics with the existing one but larger capacity.
Regards.
