@Steven-1897,

Your service manual (on page 1) states your model supports up to 32 GB (2x16) DDR5-5600.

Maintenance and Service Guide HP Envy 17.3 inch Laptop PCModel numbers: 17-da0xxx

Pages 34-36 of the manual show how to remove/install memory modules.

Thanks Tk_srq, you're very kind. On page 1 of the manual it says " Memory :Two memory slots supporting up to 32 GB of RAM (not accessible or upgradeable)" That's why I had a doubt.

Chapter 5 of the manual gives this warning:

Basically, HP doesn't want users to do any hardware upgrades.

I believe that the "not accessible or upgradeable" words you are referring to actually mean that users should not access or upgrade memory.

Your model should be upgradeable to 32 GB RAM(2x16) DDR5-5600, as indicated in the manual.

HP provides this "removing and replacing parts" video. it doesn't say it's intended for authorized service providers, and it appears that the video is provided for people who want to upgrade hardware in their notebooks.

I hope so, to be sure I have to try to do the replacement. Thanks again for the support
