Microsoft Windows 11

The left hinge on my Envy 360 started making a weird, crinkly noise when I closed the laptop last night and this morning I noticed on opening that it's getting stuck and causing the screen to delaminate in that corner. Seeing here this is a known issue. I've wasted more than an hour this morning trying to get somewhere other than the pay-to-chat help (going in circles re-entering my serial number that the HP app won't accept and will not remember even though I keep searching for and -re-adding the device to my dashboard). This is not a software issue, nor was it caused by damage I've done. It's a product defect that it appears has yet to be addressed by HP. This machine is very lightly used as I handle most day-to-day tasks on my phone.
