HP ENVY x360 Laptop - 15m-ee0023dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My laptop is scorching hot to the touch (about 185F now, was in the 200s earlier)and the fans refuse to start.

I normally use HP Command Center's cooldown mode, but nothing happens when I select it now (when it used to start the fans up immediately). This wasn't even an issue up until 2 days ago.

I haven't gotten any error or warning messages at all, and when I ran the fan speed test in BIOS, it passed, and I heard the fans spinning. When the laptop starts up and during the heaviest usage, nothing runs(even with the 'fan always on' mode), it just stays hot. In silence.

I've tried installing and uninstalling all the latest updates to no avail, and I'm trying to leave a BIOS update as a last resort(and new parts as a last last resort).
