HP ENVY
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

HP ENVY with fixed battery, startup does not recognize the battery or charge, works only with power cord. I disabled the battery drivers and reinstalled (happened previously and this fixed the issue), with no resolve.

Please update the BIOS from this Link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers

If the issue persists please run a battery test and let me know how it goes

- Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the Notebook.
- Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second.
- When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
- On the main menu, click Component Tests and Power > Battery

i have done the test and the response is that there is no battery recognized.

It was fine a couple weeks back, though is did not recognize the battery a while back, I removed battery drivers and reinstalled, at that time it seemed to fix the issue.

Thank you

Updating the BIOS normally doesn't affect any data or programs and it might resolve the issue.

Otherwise you can also contact HP Support for Service Options

Thank you
