Envy X360 13-ar0118au
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

 13-

Hello,

MY envy x360 13-ar0118au laptop says it has 2 slots each of 4GB ....but when I  open the laptop and check I dont see any slots at all to upgrade my ram to 16GB.

and also I have read in few other threads that the ram inbuild on the board and cannot be upgraded ...

why does the product configuration give wrong detials and mislead us.

Thanks,
Chandra

Hi:

Both the service manual and the product specs indicate your notebook has onboard memory.

Onboard memory is an integral part of the motherboard, and cannot be upgraded.

The service manual shows no procedure for removing and replacing the memory.
