ENVY x360 - 15m-ee0013dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm having issues at trying to charge the laptop, it's like i plug in the adapter and most of the time does not start charging. Sometimes it shows activity blinking with a Amber light in the AC port, it means the battery is charging, but then just stop lighting and holding charge. Sometimes lasts more time but no more than 3 seconds. A few times when the lap was trying to charge, surprisely got a blue screen error, related with hardware issue with the common error code called CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED. So, it restarts with no problem but the issue still there. I've used the UEFI diagnosis tool from the Boot and no found errors, i've used the bios tools that allows to test hardware like RAM, CPU, and more, among those the battery but seems with no error too. i've replaced the AC port part with other one original and no changes. I've tried changing the AC adapter using one who came with the envy x360 ryzen 2500u version and no changes. I don't what else to do. i've ordered an original adapter that will allow me to plug the AC charger and convert it to a USB type C, i've checked the specs of this laptop and it supports Power Delivery. Just hope this will works, will arrive next week, but this will be an optional way, i was thinking to ask for help to a known person that lives near me and has the older envy and try changing the battery, or just return the laptop or buy a new motherboard

Can you post the full results of the UEFI battery test? You say there are no errors but there is a lot of info in the advanced output of the test. When the battery does not charge right 90+% its the battery.

Here is. It is in spanish, hope you can understand it.

I can't run the AC adapter test because i am having this issue and the tool tells me i should connect the charger to make the test. The battery can be charged fully but it's not possible by the issue, connects and disconnect and it seems make something that ends few times in blue screen error, this doesn't happen when is using only the battery, until now. It is possible use the laptop without having connected the battery? Thanks

I see no issue with the battery or the charger so unfortunately yours is likely to be a case of a bad motherboard.
