I had an issue with my detachable wireless keyboard on my Envy x2 not connecting so I disconnected it. Now when I go to the reconnect via Bluetooth, it is asking for PIN. I can't find my original books. Is there a generic PIN I can enter or is specific to each tablet/laptop?

Hello, @THolly - Hope you are well 🙂
Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums! I’d like to help!
I see that you are facing issues while pairing the keyboard on your HP Envy X2. Do not worry, we can easily fix this issue by following the steps listed here: http://hp.care/2wM3VFu
First, follow the steps under “Troubleshooting pairing problems” to uninstall the keyboard drivers from the device manager. Once done, follow the steps under “Pairing the keyboard base with the tablet”.
Those steps should do the trick, let me know the outcome!
Good luck 🙂

Dianne - unfortunately I am not a technical person. Thankfully the solution worked for me but I will say that it wasn't working and then suddenly it did. Keep trying and hopefully it will work for you as well.
