Hi. I would like to know if it is possible to install an additional ssd disk on the m.2 connector in this model HP ( envy x360 15-aq050nw). I can not find hints on the motherboard in this laptop is the port on ssd m.2

Hi,

 

I will give you the same links as expert @visruth provided, however with a bit of explanation. It might be possible to have an M2 drive, however I think the slot is possibly not be present on the motherboard. If you look at page 3 of service manual it states that there is support for M2 SATA3 drive, however only in the aq1xx series.

So before buying an M2 SATA drive take a look inside the computer and see if the M2 slot is present. On page 38 you can see the steps to get to the M2 drive and on this page is stated that there is support in all models. However you need to check as sometimes HP will not include the physical slot on motherboard for PCs which came without M2 drive. You can take a look at these HP videos and click on solid state drive to see the location of the slot.
