Please help. I do all of my work on my laptop and my issue is making it impossible to do anything and it's very frustrating. My battery stays at 100% but unplugging it will cause the laptop to shut off. It can stay on for random amounts of time before it decides to do it. It doesn't restart just flat shuts off.

Need some suggestions before I start throwing money at the issue.

HP Recommended

Please tell us the model of the laptop and the approximate age of the battery. Very high likelihood the battery needs to be replaced.
