I ordered my new laptop “ HP Envy x360 laptop 15t-es100” at HP.com 3 weeks ago, and just received the laptop yesterday. After unboxing and setting up the PC, I noticed that the silver color strip on the top cover has a defect. Both sides of the silver strip (about 2 inches from each edge of the strip) has small bumps: the right side has a bigger bump and the strip has come off. It is disappointing to receive my order with the defection after waiting my order for 3 weeks. I have been trying to contact HP customer service, but it is almost impossible to get a real person. No telephone number or chat or email address. I am wondering if anyone has experienced the same type of defect (I have attached the image of the defect). I would like to know what causes the bumps on the silver strip on the top cover, and how contact to customer service for the problem. Thank you.

Thank you for your reply, but I have already tried the link several times before posting my question on this forum. The page you gave me is like a endless loop. I click " my device " on the page, then the page is just loading. Please advise how I can reach to a real person for further help. Or do I need to go through the virtual assistant first?
