Hi, I have a HP envy x360 and my hinge broke like all the others do since it is a design problem with this series. Hp does not want to accept that and there is nl support i can call. They dont answer my emails. I'm realy frustrated now and i dont think i will buy hp products ever again.

Any tips?

Hello,

I have an Envy x360 and the hinge did not break, what broke for me was the actual plastic panel. The hinge itself is quite sturdy but because it is screwed onto a very flimsy plastic, well..the plastic can't handle it.

I don't know if the same thing happened to you, maybe some photos would help. Regardless, both hinges and back panel can be bought on the famous chinese website for very cheap. Then, if you feel adventurous you can fix it yourself, although you will have to literally remove the screen which is not that hard, but quite scary however. Or you can just go to a repair shop.
