Hi. I have a Microsoft Ergonomic, wired keyboard that I was previously using just fine with a MacBook Pro. This is a wired keyboard that plugs into the USB port.
Everytime I plug it in, I get the 'sound' that something is connecting, but it is over and over, and the sound repeats as if it is stuck in a loop. It never stops unless I disconnect the keyboard. If I try to type on the keyboard when connected(even with the sound going), I get a very long lag-so long that I can't even see words forming.
I got help from Microsoft support, and they went through all of their troubleshooting. They said it had to be possibly my ports on my HP Spectre X360 laptop were not working, and to check with HP.
I should also mention I have a USB-to-lightning adaptor, which I also tried. The same thing happened.
I really need the erogonomic keyboard for any extended work sessions. Has anyone had this problem, and can you help? Thanks in advance!
