Hi Hp Team,
only escape key is not working on my laptop and none of the keys are not working even I tried with virtual keyboard. I uninstalled and reinstalled the keyboard driver but still the same issue. I have installed latest keyboard driver, but it didn't resolve the issue. please assist me in resolving this issue, thanks a lot in advance.

Have you run diagnostics?
Tap the ESC key after powering on. . Tap it once a second after you see the LEDs on the keyboard flash. When you see the startup menu, press F2 to run diagnostics.
Do not allow any updates if disk or memory fail, especially a BIOS update.
HP releases newer UEFI diagnostics periodically. When you select F2 during boot you are requesting UEFI diagnostics. There is an updated diagnostics package Click Here Look for the phrase 'issues outside the OS', Expand the'+'symbol and click the DOWNLOAD button. |
If a component fails during the UEFI test then Click here to check warranty
If the keys work during the UEFI diagnostics then a hardware problem.
If not then
Make sure you have the latest Microsoft Windows updates and have also run the HP support assistant to check for updates.
Try scanning for "Malicious" software. Generally speaking this is software that is not considered a virus or trojan. It performs unwanted functions such as downloading newer advertisements or reporting what the users is looking to buy and offering alternative suggestions. Typically free games have these apps.
Type MRT in the windows search bar.
