I have received an alert for the update mentioned in the title of this question and I am not sure if I need to install it or not?
I query the need to install the update because it refers to Windows XP and my operating system is Windows 10........However that said I would like to ask/check if indeed I do need to install this update - is it security essential?
However if I need to install the update - will it affect my current operating system or will it simply install in the background and not interfere with Windows 10?

Hi:
Here is the file info on sp42034.
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp42001-42500/sp42034.html
You don't need to, and shouldn't install this driver if you are running W10 on your notebook.
