As there is still no answere from admins why I can't include my Product Name and getting error I don't have enough permissions, here are more information about my laptop
Laptop: HP Envy x360 2-in-1 Laptop 14-fc0xxxLaptop:
Screen: OLED display (probably no relevant)
Motherboard ID: 8C65
BIOS: Insyde F.05-11/06/2024
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) Ultra 7 155U (2,10 GHz, 12 Core(s), 14 Logical Processor(s))
Memory: 32GB
OS: Windows 11 24H2 (10.0.26100.2605)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I bought this laptop in September and slowly transitioned my work from and data from old to the new laptop. However, I started experiencing something totally weird after some time. I’m randomly getting error from the subject – sometimes after 10 minutes of work and sometimes after 5 hours. The computer is a brand new and the 5th HP in my family after Toshiba stopped producing laptops some 10 years ago.
I’ve downloaded all the drivers from the HP website and installed all drivers as I found googling on the Internet it’s the primarily cause of the failure. Nothing has changed. Via HP Support Assistant I got F.05 BIOS version, though one can download only F.04 from the website. I tried to downgrade the BIOS. However, my computer sees the old versions as incompatible. I ran from the BIOS all tests (not longer than 1 hour!) and computer passed all the tests. I’ve downloaded Intel tools for testing processors and all is fine.
Below I’ve copied some warnings in full I’m getting. Weirdly I don’t experience BSOD, but power cuts off and computer reboots. I suspect the CPU (Intel(R) Core(TM) Ultra 7 155U) is the culprit.
So far, I haven’t contacted support as in 10 days I go on 3-week vacation and I’m not sure if they can take it over from me and fixed it within those 10 days.
Meanwhile I tried HP PC Diagnostics Windows and once has happened the same during the test - power cuts off and computer reboot. However, other two (2) times not. I start to believe it's something related to temperature of CPU/GPU/memory (computer shutdowns due to a thermal protection) so I put in myHP cooling settings to cool, although it's the loudest 😞 to see whether if my problem will repeat also with this setting.
Does somebody have an idea what it is about?!

Sadly there is no response from any HP experts! 😞
Meanwhile I was playing with myHP control performance settings and when I set cold or silent, apart from fan settings CPU perfomance is reduces and then I get no sudden reboots. However, laptop becomes slow like hell!
I tried with USB and windows key + B + power to rollback to the F.04 (from September) version. However, BIOS recovery recognizes the same as Windows, that version as incompatible. Does someone know where I can download F.05 (from November) from, which I got via HP Support Assistant?
Is there a roadmap for the F.06 version?!?

After contacting Whatsapp support over the weekend and trying multiple things - the winning solution was using the option Fix problem using Windows Update - Reinstall now from System->Recovery options.
There is no more WHEA-Logger error in EventViewer and now the temperatures of the processor doesn't go over 67 degrees celisus 🙂
don't know what was the problem. However it was the thermal protection kicking in for sure and rebooting laptop as there was no any BSOD.

To correct myself, I still get WHEA-Logger errors. Howevere, there are no more unexpected reboots!
Can someone using this laptop or at least CPU with 32GB memory to confirm if they have the same errors or not?!?

After performing Cloud Recovery to reinstall my laptop from scratch the problems still persist. The Whatsapp agent doesn't want to create order for services, although I have care pack, which means somebody should come to my house to fix the laptop or at least take it in for repair. He started convincing me that WHEA-Logger errors are not so problematic?!?
Is this normal with HP, when I buy a 1k eur brand new laptop, they don't want to perform services, although it's so clear that there is some problem with my laptop (I assume CPU) since thermal protection kicks in and unexpectedly reboots my computer, as soon as temperature of CPU comes near 80 celisus degrees measured by OMEN Gaming Hub. It totatlly unusabble for any kind of work! The only way to work is to set cold mode from MyHP. However, in this scenario the CPU is throttled down which helps CPU not to overheat and laptop is running slower than my preivous 3 years old HP!
Today I'll call HP by phone and requesting a technicia to show up on my door step and fix my computer!
Any addiitonal suggestion?

My story still doesn't have a happy end!
After dealing with HP support via Whatsapp and running all UEFI test (which my laptop always pass), test from windows (which my laptop doesn't pass as it reboots unexpectedly without BSOD - I believe the CPU thermal protection cut off the power and reboots CPU) and reinstalling Windows a server different ways (fresh from scratch, using WU, HP Cloud recovery) I finally convinced them to accept my laptop for service. During holidays my laptop traveled form Germany to Hungary (?!?) to Flextronics services where the f* losers reinstalled Windows and run all the test from UEFI, that my laptop passed concluding that laptop is repaired!! Of course it didn't solve anything as my laptop still has the same problem (see more below in screenshots).
At one point HP support tried to pursue me that WHEA-Logger errors are normal! and other time to tell me they won't fix laptop if there are sings it was dropped or something was spilled over it!!
Finally, last Friday an HP support guy called me using call-back service and I've explained him the whole story from the beginning. He requested to provide him vie e-mail screenshoots of WHEA-Logger errors and to install CoreTemp tool from google (?!) and to provide them screenshot of the core temperatures, which I did in hour or so and after that no one called me back, although I've sent them more then 5 e-mails.
It's clear (at least to me) that my CPU is dying 3 months after the purchase! More info on Signs to be aware if your 13th/14th gen CPU is failing! : intel
Now I'm kindly asking HP support to contact me (yes, you have all my details) and fix my laptop, probably by replacing the f* CPU, and if required charge Intel and not treat me as a dumb!

Hi @_sm_ ,
We apologize for the inconvenience. The issue seems to persist even after attempting the troubleshooting steps mentioned above.
This might require one-on-one interaction via remote assistance to fix the issue over the phone.

Hi Elohi,
many thanks for responding to my message.
Today I used again call-back service and finally was transferred from the 1st level to the 2nd level and they agreed to document everything happened so far and tomorrow will UPS pick-up my laptop for service again.
I doubt any remote assistance can fix my CPU, as WHEA-Logger errors popping up only when there are some problem with hardware! My laptop didn't fall, nothing was spilled over it and it's 3 months old. It could be that the latest BIOS is broken. However, there is no newer version. As I work with computers since ZX Spectrum, I strongly believe there is some problem with the CPU. And there are articles regarding instability of Intel Core Ultra 7 CPUs.
Yes, my laptop pass all the test from BIOS (EUFI). However, under Windows 11 almost every time during testing unexpectedly reboots without BSOD, which suggest that the CPU thermal protection kicks in, cut off the power and restart CPU.
I'll keep you all in the loop about the progress
